The Gondola Ride

Our day 2 in Venice saw us sightseeing and of course riding the gondola! I really had a blast and was fascinated with the old houses, the water canals, and the gondolier who spoke broken but sensible English. I learned from him the Venice is sinking by 2cm each year because of the rising water level. Blame that too on global warming.

Daddy and I were listening attentively to our gondolier..

The gondolier had to stoop down as we passed under this footbridge...
