Aqua Doodle Anyone?

Look Mommy! I have a new toy!

Look what's keeping me busy and occupied lately? My new Aqua Doodle, a gift from our family friend who lives in Munich. I really enjoy my new educational toy. It allows me to scribble away without the inky mess. Mommy is no longer worried that I might write on the walls again because it leaves no mark in it. And it is very safe to use because the "ink" is just water. Mommy refills it with fresh drinking water when I want to use it. And because it is small, I can carry it with me everywhere I go. This will surely keep me busy on our flight to London tomorrow. That would mean a stress-free flight for both my Mommy and Daddy. That is if I want to cooperate. Hehe!

Scribbles, scribbles, scribbles. Soon, I will be able to write my ABC's.

Thank you Tita Joe-ann, Tito Jerome and Johann for the gift! Hugs to you all! Enjoy your vacation in Ireland!

When I Was Sick...

Feeling unwell with my IV on. It was uncomfortable and it hurt!

I was sick a few weeks back. I had high fever, which went as high as 39.2°C, vomited multiple times and had no appetite. I had to be admitted on the fourth day since I had my fever because I was already getting dehydrated. The pedia suspected it might be the Sweinflu so me and Mommy were quarantined in my hospital room in Klinikum Ludwigsburg, which by the way has a beautiful view outside.

A section of the hospital as viewed from my room.

I fell sound asleep after they took my IV out.
I got exhausted because I was crying and was afraid of the nurse.

They took saliva, mucus and blood samples from me for testing for the Sweinflu virus. Thankfully, the results came in negative and they took off my IV dextrose on the second day. On the third day, I was discharged with a clean bill of health.

Eating a little... Mommy was happy to see me munching on something.
Dad calls my Nesquik cereals dog food because they look like dog food!
They are round and brown and look really like dog food. Love it though!

Finally managed to smile for my Mommy. Look at my small face!

I was all dressed up and very eager to go home.
Waiting for Daddy to arrive has made me impatient.

I don't want to go back to the hospital again and be hooked to the I.V. I hope I won't get sick that bad again! I wish you are all well too! God bless everyone!

The Christmas Market and Me

It is getting colder each day here and Mommy has been teaching me to say "Kalt! Kalt!" each time we go out our balcony.

And before it gets too cold, we went out one fine Sunday to see the Weihnachtsmarkt or Christmas Market in Stuttgart. I enjoyed watching the different booths with Christmas decorations and the bright lights everywhere.

I was especially attracted to the mini village with small steam trains running around it.

Perhaps before we fly to London, we will visit the Christmas Market and ride the trains in the miniature village too! I wish!

I Love Oranges

I have always loved fruits, maybe because my Mommy loves to eat fruits and maybe because I was first introduced to fruits when I started eating solid food. My first favorite is banana. And then apples, and strawberries. Lately, I like oranges. I love the juiciness and the sweet-sour taste.

Here are photos of me enjoying my serving of clementine oranges (or mandarin or Japanese oranges), the kind that is very to peel:

Hey you! Yes, you! Want some?
