Rollers, Hello Kitty and Me

I really like Hello Kitty! I guess testimony to that is this photo of me, my rollers and my Hello Kitty shirt. Everything is pink I know and I like it!

Last Thursday was Fahrzeugtag (Vehicle Day) at the Kindergarten and I was so excited! Mommy and Daddy even bought me a helmet the previous night so that my head will be protected. It was my first time to bring my Hello Kitty roller with me since my Mommy and Daddy won't allow me to bring it to the Kindergarten because they are afraid something bad might happen to me. Geesh, my parents are so over-protective!

And boy did I have lots of fun at the Kindergarten, riding my roller with my other friends who also rode their little bikes and bobby cars. I have no photos with me though so that I gladly posed for my Mom's camera when we got home that day. Did I have a blast during the photo session too!

Oh, the Hello Kitty roller was a gift from one of our friends here. And I am really thankful for her very wonderful gift. I hope Mommy won't forget to have some of these photos printed so she can give it to her. Thank you, Großtante Lolita!

Thanks for The Greetings!

I really had a blast on my birthday yesterday. All of my girl friends came, including Kate from Ulm City. My Uncle-Lolos, Auntie-Lolas and Aunties and Ates and Kuyas came too, making my celebration really special. Although my real grandparents and aunties and uncles and cousins and godparents were not with me to celebrate my birthday with me, I know they also celebrated with me in spirit!

I received lots of wonderful gifts (toys, clothes, greeting cards, and money) that I did not expect and for all of those, I am thankful. I am more thankful for the gift of their presence. And of course to my Mommy and Daddy who made it all possible, thank you very much. I love you all!

Aqua Doodle Anyone?

Look Mommy! I have a new toy!

Look what's keeping me busy and occupied lately? My new Aqua Doodle, a gift from our family friend who lives in Munich. I really enjoy my new educational toy. It allows me to scribble away without the inky mess. Mommy is no longer worried that I might write on the walls again because it leaves no mark in it. And it is very safe to use because the "ink" is just water. Mommy refills it with fresh drinking water when I want to use it. And because it is small, I can carry it with me everywhere I go. This will surely keep me busy on our flight to London tomorrow. That would mean a stress-free flight for both my Mommy and Daddy. That is if I want to cooperate. Hehe!

Scribbles, scribbles, scribbles. Soon, I will be able to write my ABC's.

Of Gifts, Presents and Presence

I had a blast on my 1st birthday and baptismal celebration. I am very happy to be showered with lots of love, hugs and kisses, and gifts from my Mommy and Daddy, godparents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, and of course, cousins! And I am thankful for all the wonderful material presents that my guests gave me. THANK YOU all especially to my godparents for the wonderful dresses and to Kuya Miggy for the educational toys.

Ah, To Be Thankful

Thanks everyone for all your prayers!

I am very THANKFUL lately. I mean, I am always thankful but this one's meaningful. Papa Jesus has heard our prayers for me to get well soon. He has healed me. Thank you so much Papa Jesus for the gift of healing. And to all my friends who have prayed for my fast recovery from the bad stomach flu that I had a couple weeks ago, thanks a lot. My family's and your prayers have helped a lot. Now I am feeling good as new and are up and about!

I want to share this beautiful tag from Mommy Jerla of Great People Make Us Feel We Can Become Great on being thankful. All of us have received so many blessings from Papa Jesus. Even if life is not all happy days, just the thought of being alive is enough to be thankful for. Hope everyone remembers to say Thank You for all the wonderful little things that come their way.
