Six Teeth and A Hearty Laugh

This was me last week.. having fun sitting in my high chair while Mom and Dad and Mrs. O were having lunch and discussing lots of things that concern houses, driving routes, train stations, supermarkets, baby stores among others. Hehehe! So, to break their serious chatter, I would pose and give them a hearty laugh, showing them my now six pearly whites!

Yup, that's ME! The happy little baby on the road! Have a nice weekend everyone! We are flying to the Philippines tomorrow. Will try to update you all when I can. HUGS!

Jetlagged and Sick

Yes, I am still sick until today. Mommy is getting worried since it's already Friday. We went to the emergency clinic last night and saw the doctor. They said my condition is getting better and that it would be okay to travel as long as I don't get tired and stressed out. So here I am, sleeping... but my sleep isn't very peaceful because I would just suddenly cry and wake Mommy up. I am so not feeling very well and I have lost a lot of weight. I wish to be well soon so that I won't cry the entire flight to the Philippines.

The happy little baby... deep in slumber.

My First Snow

I had my first snow experience when we went to Germany last week. It was snowing from Wednesday evening until Saturday and I was delighted to see snowflakes falling on the ground. They were like soft wet cotton flying all around. But Mommy didn't make me a snowman because of our full schedule during our stay in Germany. And I was all bundled up so I won't catch a cold or get sick. But I am sick now. Could it be because of the weather in Germany? Maybe. Maybe not.

Let it snow, let it snow... It was snowing Wednesday evening.
Can you see the snow fall?

Looking out. It's snowing... it must be very cold outside.
I wonder if I can play and make a snowman?

At the park just across the street from our hotel.
The grounds are now covered in snow. Bbrrrr!!!

Curious little me. What's this white thing on my feet?
They feel soft and crunchy and wet! Hihihi!

Delighted! There was so much snow up here in Bad Canstatt!
Can you see the poles and trees behind us? That's a vineyard!

Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home! We are home! We arrived last Sunday after a long flight. We arrived an hour later because our plane was delayed due to heavy snow in Switzerland. But I am thankful that we arrived Narita Airport safe and sound.

Me and my big luggage! Would you believe that this was just for my stuff?
Playing while Mommy was unpacking. Parang wala lang sakit ano?

But this baby is sick... It must be the jetlag and the change of weather. I have been throwing up since yesterday and have lost a lot of strength. But I am still my happy and active self. I pray that I will be better soon or else I won't make it to our flight to the Philippines on Saturday.

I hope I will be up and about by Friday, otherwise, Mom and Dad will have to postpone our flight to a later date.

Meeting Sam

Hello everyone! So, we went house hunting yesterday and our first stop was a typical German house which was located near Ludwigsburg. It was a small community and liked how the houses were built... The flat was on the second floor and was very spacious. It's got two bedrooms, a space for a mini-office, a bathroom, a separate toilet, and a built-in kitchen. It also has a garage, a storage room and laundry room at the basement.

Sam and Sam: playing together. We are such posers!

It was in this house where I met my new friend Sam. Actually, his name is Samuel. Do you know that Samantha is the female name version for the name Samuel? Coincidence? Hmmm... Mommy seems to think so. Isn't it just great?

He is my first friend who I got to play with albeit briefly. He is eight months old and he is so very kalbo for his age. He was so happy to see me and so we played some. He has got very light bluish gray eyes too, just like his mom. Hihi! Then it was time to say goodbye. His mom is a very kind lady who even gave me a baby toy very similar to Sam. They are just a very charming family.

I think I will like living here in Germany after all!

Life Is Grand

I received this award from Mommy Babette of Definitely Maybe. Her gesture is indeed GRAND! Thanks Mommy for remembering me every time you give out awards. Hugs!

Here is one very simple rule:
List 5 reasons why I think that Life is Grand and then pass it on to 5 people.

Life is grand because:
  1. I have very wonderful parents who adore, love and care for me! I will never ever trade them for anything else in this world!
  2. My Papa Jesus has always blessed me with good health and He always keeps away from harm and evil.
  3. I am turning a year old soon! That is a grand reason to celebrate life, right?
  4. We will visit the Philippines soon! I am very excited to see my grandparents, aunts and uncles and of course, my cousins! I want to play with them soon! Yey!
  5. I am reaching my milestones one step at a time. And I am happy with my progress. Mommy and Daddy are also there to cheer me on each time I achieve a milestone, even if it is just a small one. It is very inspiring indeed.
Now, I would like to pass this award to my good friends:

Ate Chloe of My Girl
Yena of Yena's World
Erika of Because I'm A Baby
Yeung Lei of Spices of Life
Azumi of Kawaii Princess' Story

Leaving On A Jet Plane

This is a late post already because my bags have been unpacked again! Hehehe! Why unpacked, you ask? Because we are already here in Germany with my mommy and daddy. We arrived here yesterday and Mommy has taken out my clothes from my suitcase. But before I tell you about our trip, let's rewind the events and look into our trip preparations.

I'm an Eskimo! Me in my winter jacket.

All my bags are packed.. Not quite yet.

Is everything in here Mom? I'm gonna close my luggage now.

Toy Hunt: Teddy Bear

This week's Theme for TOY HUNT is Teddy Bear....

Meet Phoebe... my POLAR BEAR friend.

Yey! I am finally able to post my very first TOY HUNT entry! Funny thing is, I don't even have a teddy bear. Hihi! But I have a toy bear, Phoebe. She is a polar BEAR. I got here when we went to Sea Paradise last year. I like her so much and we have loads of fun playing! I love to hug her, wrestle with her, and sleep with her too! Here are a few of my photos with this white, furry and cuddly PAL of mine.

Hugging my Phoebe! Hug! Hug!

Wrestling match! Yikes! I am no match for Phoebe..
she is as big as me here.

Poking Phoebe's eyes! Hihihi!

And when all the fun is over, and exhaustion
takes over, off we drift to Lala-land together!

Don't we all love huggable bears?

My First Giggles

If memory serves me right, I let out my first giggles when I was four months: July 3rd, 2008 to be exact! :))

Just got home from church. I was happy goofing
around with my Mommy and Daddy.

The first time Mommy heard them, she was so happy! I guess it came quite unexpectedly because I was having a fit and was crying so much before it happened. Mommy must have been tired at that time because she wasn't able to capture me on video. She was able to record my giggles though, so that Daddy can also hear them. And I saw Mommy smile at me affectionately when I giggled to her. So I guess I was able to take away her exhaustion the first time she heard me. And for that, I am happy!

More of me laughing... This time, with my Mommy.
