Does My Dad Wear A Watch?

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Voctorinox Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.

A watch or timepiece is an essential accessory. It tells the time, it helps keep track of how long have you already been doing something or how long have you been travelling. I always overhear my Daddy asking my Mommy, "What time is it?" and my Mommy would look at her watch and tell him the time. I guess that alone pretty much answers the question whether my Dad wears a watch or not.

That being said, I think a timeless gift is in order. And I know that he will love to have a Victorinox Swiss Army watch as a gift. He used to have a watch but the leather strap was already very old. I know that he will go back to wearing it if the straps were replaced. But it's difficult to find a matching leather strap and a new watch like the one above will be much appreciated. There are lots more timepieces available in the collection and you may find them here: http://www.swissarmy.com/.

Love the collection? Then I invite you to fan the Victorinox Swiss Army Facebook page. Check out the latest watch giveaway on the Facebook IWAW sweepstakes page and you could be one of the 30 lucky winners who will receive the Victorinox Swiss Army Watch that they are giving away over 30 days.

A Little Something For My Dad

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Swiss Army. All opinions are 100% mine.

You must have already known by now that me and my family love to travel. We always manage to find a new travel destination at least once a month. And I remember how my Daddy would make sure that our car is in top condition, and that all the hand tools that we might need during emergencies are with him. The glove compartment always contains a flashlight, a swiss army knife, and emergency vests. The swiss army knife always comes in handy. I remember how Daddy would use the swiss army knife to peel and slice my apples into bite sizes, how he would tinker with the wires just so he can hook the laptop and keep me entertained while we travel long distance, or to cut up some pieces of paper into different shapes to distract me.

But I observe that the swiss army knife Daddy has is getting a little rusty so that I would love to get him the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Dual Pro X as a belated Father's Day gift. I am sure that my Daddy will love this one as he loves to tinker with gadgets too. He is an electronic engineer by profession and is officially my Mommy's computer technician and having the Victorinox Swiss Army Knife in his pocket will be very helpful.

If you want to give something special to your Dad or your husband, then the Victorinox Swiss Army knife is the perfect gift. I am sure they will appreciate it.

Playing The Thinker's Game

I have discovered a fun new game to play. Here's some hints: it requires a checkered board, two sets of stone characters, one black and the other white, and some strategy to win. Can you already guess what I mean? My Daddy loves to play this game and I bet that he will teach me how to play the game properly when I am bigger so that he has someone to play with. You see, my Mommy doesn't know how to play this one. All that she knows how to play is the game called dama, which is an entirely different game.

In this particular chess game, my Daddy was playing against Uncle Dodoy, our friend in Switzerland. It has been a while since he last played so that he was already a little rusty. But a few more games and he got the hand of it again. Although I had no clue how the game is played, it still looked interesting enough. I even pointed to my Daddy where to move next! And what do you know? It's a check mate!

An Aspiring Guitarist

My Daddy and Me in my supermodel pose. Marunong na ano?

Did you know that my Daddy plays classical guitar? It is his renewed hobby. Renewed because he used to play the guitar before and didn't have enough time and inspiration to play it on a regular basis... until he discovered classical guitar. Thanks to the Internet and YouTube, he now has a lot of resources: techniques, exercises, even how to cut your fingernails right to get that correct tune. He is not really a PRO but I am his biggest fan! I just love it when he plays and practices and sometimes, I play along too. We have a spare guitar and it is the one I am using.

Strumming the strings...

Daddy is also planning to teach me how to play the guitar when I am big enough to hold a guitar and can understand about chords and frets and all those stuff. And I can't wait for my lessons! For now, I will just listen and watch him play those beautiful melodies... and yes, strum the guitar strings senseless!

I feel shy and self-conscious when somebody's watching...
And yes, that's my sheepish smile...

Picture Perfect!

I just love it when Mommy takes my photo. I would strike a pose with my head tilted to one side each time she aims the camera at me and says "SMILE!" I just love that word, "smile". If I want my photo taken, I would hand her our old but reliable digital camera Ixy and say "smile".

Lately, I love to have my pictures taken with my Daddy. I just love how our photos turned out!
